Sport

We normally run our beginner's courses in the outdoor season from May onwards. Two members of the club also run beginners courses all year round in the evenings at Dyson Perrins School, to which all are welcome.

We welcome non members to periodic 'have-a-go' sessions at a reasonable rate. We also run corporate days at Manor Park, during which we use the club facilities to provide food and drink.

Our standard club shooting times are Tuesday and Thursday nights, during both the indoor and outdoor seasons. However, as we have access to the field at all times you can often find us shooting at other times, especially on the weekend. During the summer, we usually arrive at the field at 6pm and leave before dark.

If you would like to know more about our club or  archery in general, then contact Allan South, 01684    563495 (evenings).

For all year round courses, contact Janice French 01684 567788.

'Malvern Archers' at Manor Park

Archery is one of the original sports practised at Manor Park. The first Malvern Archery club began shooting here in 1905, and other than a brief break during the wars and a change of name or two, we're still shooting. We have a small and friendly archery group practicing Target Archery throughout the year.

Malvern Archers is a target archery club - meaning that we shoot at set distances from 20 to 100 yards (or 18 to 90 metres) on our archery field. During the indoor season, we retreat to an indoor venue, but we do have access to our dedicated 8 target shooting field at Manor Park all year round.

We are a small friendly archery group. Among our members we boast former and current county champions, and members of the county and regional squads.
