Indoor Bowls (Malvern Hills Indoor Bowls)
We offer a 6 rink indoor pro-weave carpet. The facility was built in 1986. It is used all year round, with an emphasis on the winter season which commences the first week of October.
During the winter season there are leagues on everyday of the week, with matches against Clubs and/or competitions every weekend; this continues right through to mid April. There are also limited leagues during the summer months, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
There are popular events where non members can 'roll up' for all comers on Monday morning and Tuesday evening all year round, and additionally on Friday afternoons during the winter. Special sessions can be arranged for schools and associations (e.g. scouts, guides etc.).
The hall can also be booked by negotiation (and subject to availability) for exclusive social events.
The indoor playing surface
The indoor bowls hall has had its playing surface replaced during Christmas 2001. This was carried out by Dales Flooring, who had also laid the wooden floor two years previously. The new carpet surface, known as pro-weave, has proved to give a running duration measure in excess of 17 sec. It is favoured by virtually all International players. The Manor Park surface can now be regarded as one of the best in the Midlands.

Archery is one of the original sports practised at Manor Park. The first Malvern Archery club began shooting here in 1905, and other than a brief break during the wars and a change of name or two, we're still shooting. We have a small and friendly archery group practicing Target Archery throughout the year.
Malvern Archers is a target archery club - meaning that we shoot at set distances from 20 to 100 yards (or 18 to 90 metres) on our archery field. During the indoor season, we retreat to an indoor venue, but we do have access to our dedicated 8 target shooting field at Manor Park all year round.
We are a small friendly archery group. Among our members we boast former and current county champions, and members of the county and regional squads.
The Malvern Table Tennis League uses Manor Park Pavilion for matches and practice during the playing season from September to April. Nine teams, including one junior team, currently play from this venue.
